Mysten Labs launches Walrus testnet, a storage network
The people at Mysten Labs are working non stop delivering high quality blockchain projects. Their biggest creation it’s Sui, the most performant L1 network that has escalated to top 20 projects in market value. Now they’re bringing to the crypto scene, Walrus (currently in testnet stage), that will soon be revolving the Data Availability and Modular Blockchains narrative.

Walrus is a highly robust, secure and high capacity storage network based in Sui, that will allow any blockchain, web2 or web3 app to store data in it at an affordable cost. It also may serve as DA for other blockchains, specially those based in Move VM.You can already test and store data in Walrus testnet meanwhile the mainnet arrives in H1 2025.
